Narromine Christian School

History

Narromine Christian School opened in 1976. The school was built on donations, miracles and faith of parents that believed this was a place that would not only nurture and grow their children in the Christian faith but also prepare them for a bright future. Narromine and Dubbo Seventh-Day Adventist churches have held the vision and the function of the school within their generous hearts for several generations.  The school walls whisper stories of many committed teachers, receptive students and faithful parents and friends who have inhabited it for the last 36 years.

In July 2006 the school opened a Pre-Kindergarten centre which has proved to be a successful venture and has opened our school up to the local community.

In 2007 we received a grant that enabled us to install reverse cycle air-conditioning in our school and to construct our outdoor shade area.

In 2009 thanks to the government's National School Pride and BER funding we have been fortunate to be able to build a library/computer room, registrar's office, pre-kindy toilets and also upgrade our sprinkler system and update our school gardens.

In recent months Narromine Christian School has been able to render the school buildings, upgrade the classroom blackboard/whiteboards and purchase interactive whiteboards for the classrooms and also the library.
